Wine tasting
Wine tasting is the best time to unwind in the midst of luscious wine and beautiful vineyard surroundings! It’s so much fun but wondering what to wear for your winery trip? We got ya! Whether you’re going in the spring, summer or fall, we’ve outlined the best outfits for wine tasting. 🍷 Maybe you’re attending a special celebration or just relaxing over rosé with your bestie, for just about any winery occasion and locale keep a few outfit principles in mind. Strike a balance between casual and dressy — you want to be cute and stylish but not too fancy! Wear comfortable shoes that you can walk at lengths in, preferably with a flat, chunky or wedge sole since there’s a lot of dirt and grass around (heels get stuck in the ground)! And a hat is a good idea to protect from the sun’s rays, but at very least bring sunglasses.
Spring/Summer:
The warm season is the most likely time for your visit to the vineyards! It’s when the grape vines are lushly full of their green leaves, so it’s the perfect time for all those IG pics. Heat also means you can wear the cutest, little dresses and skirts! For your outfit, choose pretty shades of red, pink, yellow, blue, white or black (green’s not so good since you would blend into your surroundings!). Go with charming detailing in your clothing such as lace, embroidery, eyelet, ruffles or prints. Add an adorable straw tote for super classic wine tasting attire!
Fall/Winter:
In the colder months, wine tasting is often still available! Just be sure to bundle up in cute sweaters, scarves and boots! You can still look chic and fashionable in the winter while wine tasting. We especially love the way a touch of red, like a red tee or scarf, contrasts the greenery!
Hair:
Luxurious, beautiful hair is a crucial part of your beauty look for a trip to the vineyards! Style your hair in way that’s so cute but also keeps your hair at bay while you sip all those amazing Pinots and Cabs! Try a sexy Victoria Secret-esque wavy blowout, a braided half-up or pony style, a sleek or messy low or high bun, or double-buns. Add a straw sun hat if you desire, which especially is a good idea during the height of the summer heat!
